I have to admit that I am a little bit sad and even upset that Halloween has grown so much in our country to the extend of almost replace a
french holiday. Once we were speaking about "la Toussaint" and now we are speaking about Halloween. Maybe this is a side effect of the globalization but even if I am very open to other culture and an atheist, I will stick to "la Toussaint" and will not treat the children tonight. Halloween has become a commercial circus just like the Saint Patrick.
If you were such a high-level person, you should know that in Irish (gaelic) language, before Irish people go to the USA to escape famish ad misery, the word that we now spell as "Halloween" was All Hallows-Even qui signifie the eve of All Hallows' Day en anglais contemporain et peut se traduire comme « la veille de tous les saints » ou « la veillée de la Toussaint ».
Maintenant, faut-il le mettre en italien et en espagnol? (pour ce qui concerne mes compétences linguistiques)....
et Post-scriptum: il ne s'agissait d'aucun culte
mais de montrer des illustrations pianistiques marrantes et faciles sur ces thèmes. pas étonnant que nos politiciens s'écharpent sur un mot, une syllabe, un regard....
